Get Artsy!

Why not get artsy for a day? Not only is art brilliant for your wellbeing, it can help you express yourself; from painting, to crafts, there’s dozens of ways you can get artistic, regardless of your ability! Why not try painting a landscape in your back garden or crafting some handmade cards for an upcoming birthday? Art can be done anywhere you like, you could try painting from the comfort of your own home, or taking a day trip down to the coast to get creative!

Cook up a meal

Cooking is a brilliant way have fun and keep healthy! With a myriad of exciting and varied recipes available online, you’re guaranteed to find some dishes to enjoy! Try challenging yourself with something you may never usually attempt to cook, and sharpen your culinary skills! The best thing about cooking is that you can enjoy the fruits of your labour afterwards!

Experience the great outdoors

Spending the day in nature is therapeutic for many. Whether you embark on a trek along a local walking route or spend the day gardening at home, getting fresh air is a brilliant way to spend the day! There’s dozens of pleasant ways you can experience the great outdoors, so get out there and enjoy the summer sunshine!

Pets are natural stress relievers, so why not invite a friend or family member over with a pet. You could also pay a visit to a local animal shelter, petting zoo, or farm.

Becoming a part of a community is a fantastic way to pursue a hobby and make new friends! Ask around your area, or look for clubs online; you may be surprised at what you find!
